Beginning with a purpose

So after lots of math figuring out where my wonderful team stands in this game. I have figured out the task ahead!
We have a beginning team weight of 1261.5
A goal weight of 1009.7
Pounds of body fat to lose 251.64

This is with everyone ending with a body fat %of 25!

Week 1
34.5 pounds lost!
15.06 pounds of fat!
What this tells me is that some of you are eating under your calories and losing lean body mass. Why this is a problem. Lean body mass burn more calories at rest and allows you to lose more weight! Why would you want to give up food and weight loss? Eat up and eat healthy protiens!

Week 2
16 pounds lost!
to start our training day we ran 1 mile. Yes ran a mile! My goal was for everyone to finish in 15 minutes and you all sure did!

New goal for you all is to shave 10% off your time. i.e. April will aim for 12:15 and so on.

First Competition!

Our first Competition will be involving CLASSES! The team that attends the most classes in 2 weeks (5-17 through 5-31) wins a one hour private TRX class! You will be the first to experience this super fun workout and all the other members will be so jealous! All you have to do is mark next to your name BLRed, it's that easy! If you take any strength training class (Resist-a-ball, Basic Training, Toning/plyo etc.), it will count for your strength training part of your homework. If you take a cardio class (step, spin) it will count for your cardio portion of your homework! Yoga is in addition to your homework, but as many of you know, it can take you farther in you health goals than you can imagine! Good Luck and Happy Sweating!
